On Friday, November 24th, the library will be closed from 12:00 to 15:00 due to a special event organized by the Resource Development office. You can use Meeting Room B18 in ATC as an alternative workspace from 12:00 to 15:00.

EMBL librarians visited the library of Heidelberg University Hospital Center for Child and Adolescent Medicine and handed over a generous donation from EMBL staff, collected on the book flea market during the celebration of reopening of the Szilárd Library.
The library will be closed from 11:30 to 13:30 due to a special event in meeting room B28. However, extra workspaces have been booked for users to utilize during this time.
Library is hosting this unique SEPE workshop at EMBL Heidelberg for the first time. We invite everybody to join us and with the coffee and cake also to discover more "Green" resources from our collection.

On 8 December 2022, inauguration of the new reading room in ATC took place. The opening was followed by several events to celebrate the official reopening of the Szilárd Library.
