We are delighted to invite you to the EMBL Imaging Centre Symposium, taking place on 13–14 October 2026 at EMBL Heidelberg, Germany.

This two-day event will bring together researchers to explore the latest advances across a broad range of technologies, from cryo-electron and super-resolution microscopy to organismal and intravital imaging, as well as the discoveries enabled by their application. We are pleased to welcome speakers from our users alongside leading experts from our Projects Evaluation Committee (PEC), who will share cutting-edge research and insights from across the field.

Our goal is to create an open and engaging environment that encourages the exchange of ideas, fosters new collaborations, and strengthens interactions within the imaging community.

In addition to the scientific programme, we are pleased to offer a selection of industry-led workshops designed to give participants hands-on insight into emerging technologies. Highlights include:

⚠️ Workshop participation is limited and requires pre-registration, so we strongly encourage early sign-up to secure your place.

We also warmly invite all participants to contribute to the programme through poster presentations or short talks, providing an excellent opportunity to share your research with peers and experts alike. The symposium will include a dedicated discussion and feedback session, ensuring an interactive and community-driven experience.
