3rd Industry Day @ EMBL

This event will take place at EMBL Heidelberg and virtually.

Overview

The 3rd Industry Day aims to foster collaboration between EMBL staff and companies in the research field by providing a platform for educational talks, showcasing innovative technologies and products, and career opportunities facilitating networking opportunities. This event will allow companies to present their latest advancements and engage directly with EMBL researchers and staff. This idea was developed in response to numerous requests from the industry, including EMBL CPP members, to organise presentations for EMBL internal staff and increase interactions with various EMBL units.

As part of the upcoming Industry Day, we are hosting a career panel featuring three representatives from participating companies.

Panellists working in sales, business development, and application science will share their journeys from research to industry, offer insights into their day-to-day work, and provide advice for scientists interested in pursuing similar careers.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session moderated by EMBL’s career advisors.

Anyone interested in exploring career opportunities in industry is warmly encouraged to attend!

Exhibition

The exhibition at Industry Day offers an exceptional opportunity to connect with companies in the field of life sciences, strengthen existing partnerships, discover demonstrations of the latest equipment and technologies, and more. The exhibition runs throughout Industry Day, giving exhibitors ample opportunities to engage with participants. Exhibition stands are located in the ATC Foyer, in close proximity to the rooms where industry talks will take place.
