The Feldberg Foundation, founded by Professor Wilhelm Feldberg in 1961, promotes scientific contact between German and British scientists within the sphere of experimental medical research, in particular in physiology, pharmacology, and related topics, primarily by the establishment of scientific exchange lectures. Each year a German and a British scientist are chosen to receive a prize, the amount of which is an indication of Feldberg’s wish that the recipients should be outstanding in their particular field. In recognition of the prize, Anne will give a prize lecture in the UK in 2022.
“In these times, more than ever, we see the importance of international collaboration in science,” says Anne. “I’m therefore delighted to have been recognised by the Feldberg Foundation for my research.”
