The “Sample stabilization screen” consists of a screen that measures the thermal stability of your protein under 96 different environments which is characterized by a large matrix of 4 parameters:

  • 14 different buffers
  • Buffer concentration from 0.02M of to 1M
  • >pH from 4 to 10
  • NaCl concentration from 0 – 1M

Sample requirements

  • 220ul of pure protein (at least >80%) at 20 – 100 uM in a low concentration buffer.

The “Sample optimisation screen” consists of a screen that measures the effect of 76 several additives on thermal stability of your protein:

Sample requirements

  • 220ul of pure protein (at least >80%) at 20 – 100 uM in a low concentration buffer.
  • Prism 5.0 is required in order to use the template provide by the SPC for fast data processing
