300kV FEG Transmission Electron Microscope
This microscope is mostly used for acquiring tilt series from plastic embedded samples (Electron Tomography) of up to 300 nm thickness. The SerialEM acquisition software enables extensive montaging to cover large cell areas or automated multi-position acquisition. We use Fischione high-tilt tomography holders that also allow dual-axis acquisition. The microscope is equipped with a fast, high-sensitivity 16 Megapixel CMOS camera (Gatan OneView).
