We welcome our new colleague Arif ul Maula Khan, who joined the Center for Bioimage Analysis (CBA) recently. Arif completed his Ph.D. in Applied Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in the field of image analysis for biological datasets. He worked as Postdoc in the Medical Research Center at the Medical Faculty Mannheim. He has interest and experience in bioimage analysis of 2D/3D microscopic data using computer vision, machine learning and deep learning. He started as Bioimage Analyst to support and facilitate users in performing image processing and analysis. He is passionate about sports: tennis, workout, running, climbing, chess, and is looking forward to doing common activities with colleagues.
