As part of the Earth Week 2025 initiative, join the event at Szilard Library on Friday 25.4. for a workshop, clothes swap, new books on sustainability and environment, variety of take-away seeds and baby plants, coffee and home-made cakes!
To celebrate its 45th anniversary, the Szilárd Library hosted a festive book flea market, raising 428 Euros for the Katharina Labouré Haus elderly care home—thanks to the generosity of EMBL staff.
On the occasion of Sir John Kendrew's birth anniversary on March 24th, librarians have prepared a special book display featuring titles related to his life and work.
