High-Throughput Tomography (HiTT) on P14
We invite you to join us in Hamburg for the 2nd EMBL Hamburg X-ray Imaging User Meeting, taking place in person at EMBL Hamburg on 15–16 September 2026. As the first on-site edition, the meeting will bring together the X-ray imaging community for scientific exchange, facility updates, and networking. Whether you are already part of our user community or interested in becoming involved, the program will offer something for everyone. To help us organize the User Meeting, please complete the registration form using the button on the right. Attendance is free of charge! However, as this is an in-person event, please register only if you plan to attend on-site at EMBL Hamburg.
The registration deadline is 15 August 2026, 23:59.
We have put together a programme running from lunchtime on 15 September to around lunchtime on 16 September 2026. The meeting will feature speakers from different countries, backgrounds, and scientific areas, presenting a range of X-ray imaging applications and sample types. Participants will also have the opportunity to join a facility tour; further details are available in the registration form.

EMBL Hamburg at the DESY Campus is easily reached by car, train, or plane. Below you will find a short overview of the different travel options.
Simply enter Notkestrasse 85, 22607 Hamburg into your navigation system. This will take you directly to the DESY Campus. At the entrance, visitors can collect a visitor badge and park free of charge anywhere on campus.
After arriving at Hamburg Central Station, take the S1 towards Wedel and get off at Othmarschen. The S1 departs every 20 minutes from the S-Bahn platform marked with the green symbol and white “S”. From there, you can either take the bus no. 1 towards Rissen or Schenefelder Holt and get off at Zum Hünengrab (DESY), or walk to the DESY Campus in approximately 25 minutes.
After landing at Hamburg Airport, follow the signs to the airport S-Bahn station and take the S1 towards Wedel. The S1 departs every 20 minutes from the S-Bahn platform marked with the green symbol and white “S”.
