Thanks to the generous donations from EMBL staff during the Christmas book flea market, we are pleased to announce that a total of €551.50 has been raised and donated to the Kinder- und Jugendbücherei at the Heidelberg Kinderklinik.

This contribution will help the library to purchase new books for young patients and make the library even more comfortable for the little ones by buying some children‘s chairs.

As the library relies entirely on donations and is run by volunteers, we are very happy to support their important work and help create a welcoming, comforting environment for children during their hospital stay.
