During the Christmas period, we organized a book flea market at the EMBL Szilárd Library, where we offered many deaccessioned and donated books. Thanks to the generous donations and support from the EMBL staff, we were able to raise 514 Euros. This amount was donated to Stiftung COURAGE at the Heidelberg University Hospital Center for Child and Adolescent Medicine, a foundation that provides support to children and young people with lifelong chronic illnesses that require a longer hospital stay.
