EMBL Corporate Partnership Programme

Connecting global leaders in industry with world-leading life scientists and biomedical researchers and their latest developments in molecular biology

History

The EMBL Corporate Partnership Programme was founded in 2009 as a platform to foster collaboration between EMBL and global industry leaders, particularly those in life sciences and biopharmaceutical research and development.

The programme serves as a hub for supporting the training of the next generation of molecular life scientists, connecting corporate partners with cutting-edge molecular biology developments and world-leading researchers. It was designed to cultivate long-term relationships between EMBL and top-tier corporate partners, offering members opportunities to engage with EMBL’s advanced training programmes and research initiatives.

Over the years, the programme has attracted major industry partners. The programme has also expanded beyond its initial focus on life sciences companies to include partners from other sectors as data services and IT, reflecting the growing importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in modern biological research.
