EMBL Conference
This conference will take place at EMBL Heidelberg, with the option to attend virtually.
Registration is not yet open for this event. If you are interested in receiving more information please register your interest.
This EMBL Conference brings together researchers at the frontier of genomics to explore the origins, patterns and consequences of mutations. Across cells and species, we will traverse the mechanisms driving genetic heterogeneity to impact genome function, evolution, and disease.
Rapid improvements in accuracy of sequencing techniques and their application across cells, tissues, cultivars, and populations necessitates bringing together previously disparate fields. Contextualising genetic heterogeneity with increasingly-sophisticated experimental perturbation, multi-omic integration, and computational analyses are transforming the ways we find and use mutations for discovery.
Bringing together researchers from diverse academic backgrounds, geographic regions, and career stages, ee are able to foster interactions between disciplines that do not traditionally overlap by offering a vibrant forum in which we can exchange ideas and spark new collaborations.
We are enthusiastic about attendees from all disciplines and and career stages, from early-career researchers to established investigators, no specialist background is required. This conference is well-suited to those researching mutagenesis, genomics, evolution, cancer, developmental, functional biology and related fields.
EMBL is committed to creating an inclusive environment at our courses and conferences where internationally renowned researchers and researchers at all career stages across the life sciences share knowledge, build connections, and foster collaboration.
