The impressive Klaus Tschira Auditorium is the heart of the EMBL Advanced Training Centre and our largest meeting room.

It features state-of-the-art technical equipment to ensure the best conditions for scientific events. The adjacent foyer area with 823 m² provides ample space for catering and exhibitions.

• Capacity: 466 seats (theatre style), 16 seats with limited view (small parts of the screen can be blocked by either of the two pillars on these seats)
• Size: 471 m²
• Equipment: 2 projectors (10.000 ANSI-Lumen), PC and Mac computer for presentations, sound system with up to 8 microphones (3 clip-on, 5 hand-held), audio and video recording equipment, lectern, laser pointer
• The Auditorium is located one level below the main entrance (Level E1)
