EMBL Course
Applications for this event are not open yet. If you are interested in receiving more information, please register your interest.
This application-centred course explores how fluorescence lifetime-based measurements can provide functional and mechanistic insights into biological systems.
As fluorescence lifetime-based readouts become increasingly accessible, there is a growing need for researchers to understand how to interpret and apply this additional dimension of fluorescence information.
The course will provide a broad understanding of lifetime-based readouts and their applications, equipping participants with the knowledge needed to leverage these approaches to address a wide range of biological questions.
“The inspiring trainers, the best microscope systems, the highly motivated participants and the in-depth discussions that took place there had such an impact on me that it may have changed my future microscopy life. This is a training course I definitely recommend!” – Yuki Hamamura, Max Planck Institute of Molecular Plant Physiology, Germany
“The advanced microscopy course in Heidelberg was an incredible experience. I learned a lot, especially about FLIM microscopy, and found the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The setting was beautiful, the food was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their microscopy skills.” – Nishant Patel, L’Institut de Biologie Moléculaire et Cellulaire (IBMC), France
