Ottoline Leyser’s research focuses on the mechanisms underlying developmental plasticity in plants, using the hormonal control of shoot branching in Arabidopsis as a model system. She was awarded a DBE in January 2017 and has was honoured with the 2017 FEBS|EMBO Women in Science Award.
