Become an EMBL events reporter
EMBL’s programme of conferences and symposia is recognised as offering some of the best training and development for life researchers in the world. In an effort to share these unique events with scientists who cannot attend, EMBL is offering free places to conference reporters who will post to social media from within the conference. This trial is being offered for all conferences and symposia taking place at EMBL Heidelberg, Germany.
What’s in it for me?
Come and take part in an EMBL conference or symposium, for free. Registration fees are waived for event reporters. You will still need to cover your travel and accommodation.
What will I have to do?
- Document the event on social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and/or a personal blog.
- Write a short report on the conference
How can I apply?
Up to two places per conference may be offered. To apply, please send a motivation letter including your scientific background and social media account names to marketing@embl.de.
