EIPOD4 Fellowship programme

The EIPOD4 fellowship programme offers talented early career researchers the possibility to engage in ambitious research projects involving 2 or more EMBL group leaders. An overview of EMBL’s research is available here. In addition, external partners from academia, industry, clinics and museums with active researchers may also take part on EIPOD projects.

Applicants apply to one of three available tracks based on their research interests and career aspirations. The academic track is designed for fellows largely interested in pursuing a classical academic career. The industry track supports interdisciplinary research projects involving an industry partner or applied research projects. The clinical track targets MD/PhDs who aspire to work as physician scientists and fellows with a strong interest in biomedical research.

The last call for the EIPOD4 programme took place in 2021. A call for the new EIPOD programme : EIPOD- Exploring Life in Context (EIPOD-LinC) is currently open until January 18, 2023.

This programme received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (Grant agreement number 847543).
