Course opportunity in advanced image analysis

Microscopy data analysis: machine learning and the BioImage Archive
16 – 20 May 2022 | Virtual course

Run in conjunction with EOSC-life, this virtual course from EMBL-EBI training is aimed at scientists working with biomage data across the life sciences. The programme will introduce programmatic approaches used in the analysis of bioimage data via the BioImage Archive, and will have an emphasis on machine learning and advanced image analysis. The week-long event will introduce participants to various methods and tools in image analysis such as ZeroCostDL4Mic, ilastik, ImJoy, the BioImage Model Zoo, and CellProfiler.

Participants will learn via a mix of pre-recorded lectures, live presentations, and trainer Q&A sessions. Practical experience will be developed through group activities and trainer-led computational exercises. Live sessions will be delivered using Zoom with additional support and asynchronous communication via Slack.
