Kathryn Anderson, former EMBL SAC member, died on 30 November 2020.

It is with sadness and regret that we share the news of the loss of Kathryn Anderson. Kathryn was an EMBL Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) Member from 2015-2017 and, at the time of her death, was Head of the Anderson Laboratory at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. The Lab’s website features a short tribute to Kathryn and will shortly be updated with more information about her life and legacy. She was a much-loved member of the EMBL community who will be missed. May she rest in peace.
