Council appoints the Pensions Advisory Board, which guides Council to make informed decisions about the EMBL Pension Fund.
PAB Members are nominated by EMBL Member States and appointed by EMBL Council amongst individuals with significant experience in pension fund administration, particularly related to investment strategy and management.
The EMBL Pensions Advisory Board advises EMBL Finance Committee and EMBL Council i. a. by translating Council’s investment objectives into an associated risk budget and reporting on the performance of the fiduciary manager to the strategy set.
