Career Accelerator for Research Infrastructure Scientists
ARINAX is the world leading company for the design and the fabrication of single crystal diffractometers for synchrotron beamlines. leading large scale research centers. ARINAX supplies cutting edge technology to its customers and its team of 10 engineers, scientists and technicians fosters the idea of excellence.
As a partner in this project, ARINAX intends to cooperate with the EMBL towards training of the Fellows. ARINAX can host up to 2 Fellows per year in the period 2020-2024 through secondments and introduce them to the ways of working, instrumentation and procedures at ARINAX. Duration of secondments will be between 2 and 6 months and will be arranged in communication with the Fellow. Fellows who will do secondments at ARINAX will come from the field related or complementary to the field of work of ARINAX.
At ARINAX Fellows will have a possibility to learn in one of the following three fields: high precision mechanics, electronics/motion control and software development for the control of X-ray ·diffracti on devices. The Fellows will also have a chance to get acquainted with the operation of MX-end station equipment. ARINAX will dedicate supervision capacity for each fellow on secondment s. During secondments, Fellows can stay employed by EMBL.
ARINAX intends also to host mini-secondments in duration of up to two weeks, during which Fellows will shadow operations at ARINAX.
