At EMBL Barcelona, the youngest EMBL site by the sea, we build tissues to understand them. We want to celebrate EMBL’s 50 years of excellence with an inspiring day of scientific discovery, collaboration, and networking, hosted in the beautiful PRBB Auditorium.

EMBL Barcelona celebrates EMBL’s 50 years of excellence.
EMBL, Europe’s life sciences laboratory, is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and at EMBL Barcelona, the youngest EMBL site by the sea, we are excited to celebrate this remarkable milestone.
At EMBL Barcelona we build tissues to understand them, both in vitro and in silico. In this one-day event, we will showcase the latest breakthroughs in tissue biology and disease modeling. We’ll also take a moment to reflect on the pivotal achievements that have shaped our work over the decades.
