#CellBio2025
Self-paced course
Cells are the foundation of all living systems, and advances in cell biology are transforming medicine, genetics, and ecology. The course “Cell Biology for Educators and Enthusiasts” invites educators to explore how the latest discoveries in microscopy and molecular biology can enrich science teaching and inspire students to see biology as an interconnected, dynamic field. This winter, EMBL’s Science Education and Public Engagement (SEPE) team, in partnership with Merck, invites educators and enthusiasts to take part in a self-paced training course.
The “Cell Biology for Educators and Enthusiasts” course includes content from EMBL’s virtual LearningLAB 2022, “The cellular basis of life“. It provides an overview of cell biology research across EMBL, highlighting the latest approaches and techniques used to explore the field and offers practical strategies for effectively bringing this topic into the classroom.
Running from 3 November to 14 December 2025, this certification-ready course is delivered entirely online, allowing participants to engage with the material at their own convenience and pace. The course is taught in English.
Visit the course page for more details and access the course any day by 14 December 2025.
