The EMBL Hamburg secretariat can arrange accommodation, ideally at the DESY guesthouse or at a local hotel.
You will be asked to pay your guesthouse or hotel bill before leaving Hamburg.
Check out time is 10:30. You will be charged for an extra night if you do not return your key on time, unless notification has been given in advance to the Hostel Office.
Bills may be paid in cash (Euro), at the DESY Kasse (Building 6) or per money transfer (German Banking System). Payment with credit card is also possible.
Metrobus 1 (direction Schenefelder Holt) directly to the main entrance of DESY (bus stop Zum Hünengrab/DESY) (3.3€; 25 minutes) or take S-Bahn S1 or S11 (direction Blankenese/Wedel) to Othmarschen. From Othmarschen take Metrobus 1 (direction Schenefelder Holt) to DESY, Zum Hünengrab (3.3€; 15 minutes).
