Stephanie Lo

Dr Stephanie Lo leads Protein Function Content Team, which is responsible for expert curation and creating automated annotation rules for UniProt protein resources, and the Gene Ontology. The team is also responsible for building reference proteome.

Stephanie joined EMBL-EBI from the Wellcome Sanger Institute where she led the Global Pneumococcal Sequencing project. Her group designed fast and scalable pipeline to analyse bacterial genomes and extract public health relevant information to guide vaccine design and polices.
