Adam Broadbent

Adam has an MSc in Medical Diagnostics from Cranfield University and a BSc in Environmental Biology from Newcastle University.

He joined EMBL-EBI in 2018, moving on from his previous role as a technical team manager at a small biotechnology company in Cambridge who manufactured an isothermal DNA amplification platform. Spending most of his career in industrial biotechnology (aside from a two-year stint in pharmaceutical analysis), Adam has steadily built on his skills in operational management, working closely with people and processes in order to achieve top quality outputs with increased efficiency, all the time embracing a continuous improvement philosophy.
