EMBL has strengthened its links with enterprise by welcoming Sartorius to the EMBL Advanced Training Centre (ATC) Corporate Partnership Programme. Sartorius is a leading international pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment provider with two divisions: bioprocess solutions and laboratory products and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sartorius, founded in 1870, employs more than 6900 people working at around 50 sites. Specifically, EMBL and Sartorius will collaborate in the provision of advanced training courses, conferences and workshops at EMBL. The company will also provide support to EMBL\u2019s science education programme by funding ten travel bursaries for teachers to attend international training courses run by EMBL\u2019s Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences (ELLS) \u2013 and further collaboration is planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
