A&nbsp;key instrument to achieve&nbsp;this is EMBL\u2019s renowned programme of courses and conferences. Abstract submission and registration are now open for many events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reduced rates for PhD candidates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you studying for your PhD? We have reduced the conference entry fee for PhD candidates to make events more accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Event reporter programme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are trialling a new programme with limited free places available for participants who are willing to report on the conference or symposium. This allows people&nbsp;to follow events on&nbsp;social media if they&nbsp;cannot attend in person&nbsp;and opens places to those who could not fund them otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Childcare options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Many conferences taking place at EMBL Heidelberg provide <a
