{"id":8152,"date":"2016-09-30T16:43:44","date_gmt":"2016-09-30T14:43:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.embl.de\/?p=8152"},"modified":"2024-03-25T10:15:50","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T09:15:50","slug":"cambridge-new-therapeutics-forum-embl-ebi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/news\/events\/cambridge-new-therapeutics-forum-embl-ebi\/","title":{"rendered":"EMBL-EBI hosts the Cambridge New Therapeutics Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EMBL-EBI and the Babraham Institute co-hosted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onenucleus.com\/cambridge-new-therapeutics-forum\">CamNTF<\/a>, a scientific networking event that rotates between different organisations in the Cambridge biocluster.&nbsp;The event was dynamic and well-attended, with talks by Professor Sir Mike Stratton of the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Dr Michelle Linterman of the Babraham Institute and Dr Pedro Beltrao of EMBL-EBI.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Stratton presented on &#8216;Signatures of mutational processes&#8217;, Dr Linterman on &#8216;What shapes the human immune system?&#8217; and Dr Beltrao on &#8216;Studying&nbsp;mammalian cell signalling using phosphoproteomics&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebi.ac.uk\/about\/events\/2016\/cambridge-new-therapeutics-forum\">full programme<\/a> is on the EMBL-EBI website. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onenucleus.com\/cambridge-new-therapeutics-forum\">Future events<\/a>&nbsp;are listed on the One Nucleus website.
