We warmly welcome Nikon\u2019s expanded and intensified commitment,\u201d said EMBL Director Matthias Hentze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A major activity of the CPP is the Fellowship programme, and since 2010, more than 3,000 scientists representing 105 nationalities have received CPP fellowships to attend scientific conferences and practical courses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMost of the CPP fellowship recipients are in the very early stages of their scientific careers, and Nikon Europe\u2019s decision to upgrade our CPP membership demonstrates the value our company places on investing in the future of the life sciences. We are proud of our long-term commitment to this important programme,\u201d said Daniel Ciepielewski, Nikon Europe B.V. General Manager.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2009, the CPP is a hub for collaboration in support of training the next generation of molecular life scientists by connecting global leaders in industry, especially companies with an emphasis on life sciences and biopharmaceutical R&amp;D, with the latest developments in molecular biology and with world-leading molecular biologists and biomedical researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CPP Manager Nadine Ilk said: \u201cThe programme cultivates long-term, fruitful relationships between EMBL and top-class corporate partners.
