The Laboratory committed two positions for an archivist and records manager earlier this year, as well as covering the costs of its infrastructure. An online donations platform<\/a> for material collections and funds was launched this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key figures in the life sciences community have given their backing to this project, among them Nobel Laureate Sydney Brenner: \u201cI’m happy to lend strong support to your initiative and wish you all success.
