Anna Steyer, a former PhD student in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.de\/research\/units\/cbb\/schwab\/index.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Schwab team<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at EMBL Heidelberg, captured this image. She has coloured mitochondria (blue), endosomes\/lysosomes (yellow\/red), and the Golgi apparatus (green).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Images like this one help researchers to fulfil EMBL\u2019s mission: to explore the molecular world, to provide the technologies that enable this, and to distribute both the technological know-how and the acquired knowledge
