on nature"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From biologically-inspired medical applications to \u2018pushing the limits of life\u2019, the 2014 symposium invites young scientists from around the world to convene in Heidelberg in October, to explore how the cell\u2019s inner workings can serve as both inspiration and toolkit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The symposium is organised by students in the first year of their PhD at EMBL, and will feature a mix of lectures by leading scientists, short talks by participating students, poster sessions, a \u2018science and society\u2019 session, and a workshop on science communication, as well as social activities like a party and an evening in Heidelberg\u2019s old town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zoom in&#8230;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div
