{"id":12213,"date":"2018-02-08T14:53:32","date_gmt":"2018-02-08T13:53:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.embl.de\/?p=12213"},"modified":"2024-03-23T21:55:26","modified_gmt":"2024-03-23T20:55:26","slug":"embls-first-e-learning-courses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/news\/events\/embls-first-e-learning-courses\/","title":{"rendered":"EMBL\u2019s first wetlab e-learning courses go live"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>EMBL has launched its first online courses focusing on research from laboratories at EMBL Heidelberg: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.de\/training\/e-learning\/optogenetics\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>An Introduction to Optogenetics<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.de\/training\/e-learning\/clem\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>An Introduction to On-section CLEM<\/em><\/a> (Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy). The courses combine different e-learning materials, ranging from how-to videos to interactive elements and exercises. More courses will become available in the coming months, covering other areas of EMBL expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The free virtual courses are aimed at a range of audiences, from molecular biologists wanting to learn a particular technique to non-scientists interested in the latest discoveries and advances.
