Every year, the AWS nominates scientists whose work impacts the world (local or globally) to receive the Planet Earth Award.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/groups\/vincent\/\">Vincent<\/a>, who investigates microbial interactions in the ocean and their role in climate regulation, is one of five awardees in 2025. \u201cDr. Flora Vincent\u2019s leadership in marine microbiology has been transformative, bridging molecular science and ecological research to reveal the critical role of microbial interactions in ocean health,&#8221; said William J.
