The photographer will join a team of eight, providing modern photographic, video and conference services in a large international scientific research environment.
As a member of the Photographic Section, the post holder will be expected to undertake digital imaging and processing, studio and location photography and extensive printing as well as general photographic duties. Conference support, video capture and streaming together with videoconference support are also a smaller part of the work, supporting the AV technicians in the group.
The ideal candidate should have higher photographic qualifications and/or relevant imaging/photographic/printing experience. Familiarity with quality digital printing, Macintosh and PC platforms, Imaging and Graphics software is essential. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Final Cut Pro, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office are just some of the software packages supported. Good communication and interpersonal skills are esssential. Fluency in English is necessary.
Experience in Zoom and Lifesize Videoconferencing support and website maintenance would be an advantage. Knowledge of French or German would also be advantage.
