Our group studies how metabolism shapes immunity, focusing on bacterial defense systems and phage counter-defense strategies. We combine biochemistry, microbiology, computational analysis, and structural biology to uncover new enzymes, metabolites, and metabolic pathways in phage\u2013bacteria interactions.<br><br><strong>We are currently looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bioinformatician (PhD or Master level)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking a computational biologist with experience in sequence analysis, comparative genomics, or functional annotation. The project focuses on large-scale mining of phage genomes to identify novel enzymes and metabolic systems. Experience with protein function prediction or structural modeling is an advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experimental researcher (Biochemistry \/ Structural Biology \/ Microbiology)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for a wet-lab scientist with experience in protein biochemistry, microbiology, or structural biology.
