This is a very fine EM scope to be used for cell biology purposes. It is also equipped with a “compustage” and therefore tilted views, or stereo pairs can be acquired on this scope. The camera (SIS 1K KeenView) in particular is very good and offers enough quality and adequate contrast to replace the use of negatives for what concerns plastic sections as well as cryosections.
Moreover, montaging pictures can be acquired using the SIS software (for higher resolution images to be acquired it is preferable to use negatives).
