Initially acquired images are automatically analyzed and coordinates of the features of interest are communicated back to trigger follow-up acquisitions.

In particular, we offer:

Establishing automated acquisition protocols, including automated scanning of multi-well plates.

Microscope experiments with online image analysis, where objects of interest are detected automatically and a complex acquisition protocol is launched for these objects.
Example: Fuqua et al. Nature (2020)

To this end we have developed software interfaces between confocal microscopes (Leica SP5, Zeiss Zen Black and Zen Blue, Olympus FV3000) that establish a feedback loop between popular image analysis packages (Cellprofiler, Fiji) and the microscope software.

Experiments involving liquid handling on the microscope stage (e.g. adding a drug) using automated dispensing systems.

HTM Services

        High Throughout Microscopy

        RNAi expertise

        RNAi libraries

        Supported formats

["post-163","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
https://www.embl.org/groups/advanced-light-microscopy-core-facility/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/163/revisions
https://www.embl.org/groups/advanced-light-microscopy-core-facility/wp-json/wp/v2/pages/163/revisions/1562
https://www.embl.org/groups/advanced-light-microscopy-core-facility/wp-json/wp/v2/embl_taxonomy?post=163
