I aktiviteten ska vi analysera DNA och aminosyrasekvenser fr\u00e5n Gr\u00f6n Fluorescerande Protein (GFP) och n\u00e4rbesl\u00e4ktade molekyler genom att anv\u00e4nda olika webb-baserade databaser och analysredskap (tools). Biologiska data \u2013 t.ex., DNA och proteinsekvenser eller strukturinformation \u2013 lagras och organiseras i databaser vilka \u00e4r tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r vetenskapsm\u00e4n. D\u00e5 merparten av data produceras med allm\u00e4nna medel \u00e4r de ocks\u00e5 fritt tillg\u00e4ngliga. P\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt \u00e4r verktyg (tools) f\u00f6r bioinformatik, som designats av vetenskapsm\u00e4n, finansierade genom allm\u00e4nna medel och d\u00e4rf\u00f6r fritt tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r s\u00e5v\u00e4l andra vetenskapsm\u00e4n som allm\u00e4nheten. I den h\u00e4r aktiviteten ska vi anv\u00e4nda s\u00e5dana bioinformatik databaser och verktyg f\u00f6r v\u00e5r analys.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"vf-tabs__section\" id=\"vf-tabs__section-12bcdfb5-2c34-4290-915e-92e21cc545e1\"><h2>Tekniska krav<\/h2>\n<p>Astex Viewer kr\u00e4ver att Java \u00e4r installerad p\u00e5 din dator och aktiverad i din webl\u00e4sare.
