Genome editing holds the transformative power to revolutionise medical treatments, agricultural practices, and our understanding of genetics. The on-demand course \u201cThe CRISPR-Cas9 revolution: a course for educators and enthusiasts<\/strong>\u201c, organised by EMBL\u2019s Science Education and Public Engagement team in partnership with Merck, aims to give an overview and deep dive into the field of genome editing and CRISPR research and help educators teach the topic in class. The course content is available on the EMBL eLearning platform eCampus. Please be aware that the course content is delivered in Englisch<\/strong>, therefore, a minimum English language level required for attending the course is B1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The free<\/strong> course will run online from 26 October to 6 December 2026, allowing educators and anyone interested in learning more about genome editing to join at any time <\/strong>and explore the course content at their own pace. At the end of the course, you can obtain a certificate<\/strong> of attendance by completing a short feedback questionnaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
