We have done hands-on experiments in the training labs of the EMBL Advanced Training Center, explored the biology of the model system Zebrafish in the EMBL Fish House and\u00a0investigated the physical properties and the usage of fluorescent proteins in modern life science research.<\/p>\n<p>We wish all of the students\u00a0a nice stay in Heidelberg and are quite sure\u00a0that they will profit from their experiences during their internships in Heidelberg&#8217;s research institutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/emblog.embl.de\/ells\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/ISH@EMBL_47A7311.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-6193\" src=\"http:\/\/emblog.embl.de\/ells\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/ISH@EMBL_47A7311-1024x453.jpg\" alt=\"ISH@EMBL 2014\" width=\"1155\" height=\"510\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We immensely enjoyed interacting with the\u00a0participants of the\u00a0International Summer Science School Heidelberg 2014.
