The European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences (ELLS) invites German-speaking science teachers teaching grades 5-13 to apply for the ELLS LearningLAB Resources Edition<\/em> \u201cFluoreszenzmikroskopie im Klassenzimmer\u201d<\/strong>. The 4.5-hour continuous professional training course will take place at EMBL Heidelberg on both 27 January and 5 March 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application deadline for LearningLAB 27. Januar:<\/strong> Sunday, 12 January 2020 (23:59 CET) or as soon as all spaces are taken<\/span>

This ELLS LearningLAB Resources Edition<\/em> provides an introduction to fluorescence microscopy and the ELLS teaching resource “Microscope in Action”<\/a>. After a scientific lecture, which gives insight into modern applications of fluorescence microscopy in research, the workshop will introduce the teaching resource and illustrate how it can be integrated into the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
