{"id":22812,"date":"2018-12-05T15:59:08","date_gmt":"2018-12-05T14:59:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/emblog.embl.de\/ells\/?p=22812"},"modified":"2021-06-23T08:02:37","modified_gmt":"2021-06-23T08:02:37","slug":"reminder-deadline-llab-evolutionary-biology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/ells\/2018\/12\/05\/reminder-deadline-llab-evolutionary-biology\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder: application deadline for teacher training on evolutionary biology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Do not miss the deadline to apply for the upcoming ELLS LearningLAB taking place at EMBL Heidelberg between 18<span class=\"st\"><sup>th<\/sup> and 20<sup>th<\/sup> February 2019<\/span>. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Apply now until Sunday, 9<sup>th<\/sup> December 2019 (23:00 CET)<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span class=\"st\">The European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences (ELLS) and HHMI BioInteractive, Science Education Department, Howard Hughes Medical Institute invite European secondary school biology teachers to apply for the <strong>ELLS LearningLAB &#8220;<\/strong><strong>Genes of Change: New Ways of Teaching Evolutionary Biology&#8221;<\/strong>, taking place at EMBL in Heidelberg, Germany between 18<sup>th<\/sup> to 20<sup>th<\/sup> February 2019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The 2.5-day professional training course for European secondary school biology teachers will consist of a mix of seminars by EMBL scientists, hands-on activities, lab experiments, presentations of teaching resources and visits to the research facilities of EMBL.
