The latest Single Cell Expression Atlas (SCEA) release is here and packed full of new content, from the Human Cell Atlas, new collaborations and new species.

New datasets

We have grown the number of datasets available through the SCEA by over 50 percent, from 200 to over 300 available datasets to explore, consistently ranking us among the larger resources for single cell expression data. This also includes new data from our long-standing collaboration with the Human Cell Atlas which is available via the Cambridge Cell Atlas. To make data access and reanalysis even easier for users, AnnData objects are now available for download via FTP for every dataset.

Data from new species is also available; rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) and sheep (Ovis aries) continuing our commitment to displaying data from a range of different species.

New collaborations

Last but certainly not least are our exciting collaborations with the DiscovAIR and Fly Cell Atlas projects:

As always we aim to be the go-to resource for any queries the scientific and research community have for gene expression and our dedicated team keep that goal in mind with all our work. Now more than ever we would love to hear from you. Please help out and answer our user survey and how we can improve the Expression Atlas and Single Cell Expression Atlas for you! You can do this by clicking on the link to our survey from either resource.
