The three silent rooms will also be bookable via the room booking system following the same procedure as before the closure. However the use of all other workstations in the reading room remains prohibited until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hygiene measures<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please disinfect your hands at the hand sanitizing station and wear a mask while in the reading room. There is no obligation to wear a mask while working in the silent rooms.&nbsp;<strong>Only 4 users<\/strong>&nbsp;will be allowed to be inside the reading room area at any one time plus one person per silent room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Loans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The check-out computer must not be used when borrowing any books or journals from the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead check-out has to be done via email to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:library@embl.de\">library@embl.de<\/a>. Please just take the media with you and send a mail to the library afterwards including the book\/journal title and code. You may return media to the trolley in the corridor outside the Library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Silent rooms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The silent rooms must be booked in advance via the room reservation system and may only be used by one person. Users of the silent rooms have to clean and disinfect the workplace (i.e. desk and chair) before and after use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Printer room<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The printer room remains closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Library staff<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Library staff continues to mainly work from home.
