In the year when we are celebrating 50 years of the Szil\u00e1rd Library foundation and 45 years of its inauguration, librarians are organizing a book flea market in the library area at the top of B helix in ATC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a voluntary contribution, you can pick from many deaccessioned textbooks, duplicate books, as well as a variety of non-fiction books, magazines, language and IT handbooks, or DVDs that were donated to the Library from former EMBL staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The money collected will be donated to the library at the \u201cKatharina Labour\u00e9 Haus\u201d in Heidelberg which is a home for elderly people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nice and unique giveaways are ready for those who participate in our initiative! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We thank our colleague Katie (OSIM) for handmade crocheted snowflakes, Holly (Creative team) for creating our printed giveaways and, Lidija for Christmas tree ceramic decorations that celebrate the library anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
