Making the most of your philanthropy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We greatly appreciate your support and to maximise the value of your gift, we have prepared a list of tax-efficient giving options for donors based in various countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giving from Germany<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For donors based in Germany, donations are tax deductible. On receipt of your donation, we will ensure that you are sent a receipt for German tax purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giving from the USA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

USA-based donors can support our activities in a tax-efficient way through a contribution to the American Friends of EMBL at the Myriad USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because Myriad USA is a public charity within the meaning of Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gifts by credit card<\/strong>: please go to the dedicated Myriad USA webpage<\/a> for the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, select the amount you would like to donate and click on \u2018Donate\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gifts by check<\/strong>: please write your check to Myriad USA, write \u201cEuropean Molecular Biology Laboratory\u201d in the memo section of the check, and send it to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EMBL is a part of the Giving Europe network, providing a secure, tax-effective, cross-border giving framework from a number of European countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
