{"id":13295,"date":"2026-10-05T09:09:36","date_gmt":"2026-10-05T09:09:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/about\/info\/imagine\/?p=13295"},"modified":"2026-10-05T09:09:37","modified_gmt":"2026-10-05T09:09:37","slug":"imagine-open-call-imaging-across-scales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/about\/info\/imagine\/blog\/2026\/10\/imagine-open-call-imaging-across-scales\/","title":{"rendered":"IMAGINE Open Call: Imaging Across Scales"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IMAGINE is offering funded access to six next-generation imaging technologies developed across Euro-BioImaging, Instruct-ERIC, and EMBRC \u2014 enabling researchers to study biological specimens in their natural context, across scales, in ways not previously possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This pilot call is for projects that wish to combine a minimum of two and a maximum of three of the following technologies to address a defined research question requiring cross-scale imaging:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>X-ray Imaging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electron Microscopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Super-resolution Microscopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intravital Microscopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marine Imaging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data Management &amp; AI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Funding:<\/strong>&nbsp;A minimum of three projects will be funded, with up to \u20ac10,000 per project to cover facility access costs, plus up to \u20ac500 for associated expenses such as travel, accommodation, or shipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who can apply:<\/strong>&nbsp;The call is open to external research teams at any career stage.
